'Melody Rock: Lockdown' Album Cover.

Collaborative project, heavily focused around the current pandemic.

The illustration displays a single man, wearing a face mask, walking down an abstract-styled street of closed shops, giving the illusion of the scene is becoming warped and distorted.

The light blue of the mask and the shoulder bag, is referencing the colours of the NHS and the choice of using abstract styles was to visualise the uncertainty of this time, along with the ever-changing rules.

The label of 'Melody Rock' is completely original and was only intended for use on this piece as it adds to the authenticity of the cover art.
Different version, now fully displaying the main character in fully greyscale.

This does still work, however not as strong as the colour featured type. Feedback by individuals who view this piece share similar options.
Final version, features the illustrated human being removed from the artwork completely.

This design was created to see if the background imagery could sell the message of the cover art, without the inclusion of the depicted man. Although, additional feedback received stated that this piece does not have the same amount of impact as the previous works.
